Fitzroy youth Homework club
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
ABOUT YOUNG ASSETS FOUNDATION
Young Assets Foundation grew out of the gap between services for the community and the communities themselves. This gap was made clear by how service organisations and the community responded to the lockdown of the 9 towers. YAF puts young people at the front and centre of identifying areas of need, and designing and implementing responses. Young people hold the solutions our aim is for them to hold the power.
In working to achieve our aim of youth led and controlled community services we have developed programs to empower young people, such as the Homework Club and YAF Schools Program, we have created and utilised opportunities to influence decision making of established community organisations and peak bodies, such as the Richmond Covid response.
YAF works differently to other community organisations because a different approach is needed.
YOUNG PEOPLE IN VICTORIA ARE INSPIRED AND EQUIPPED TO CREATE HEALTHY, SAFE AND SUCCESSFUL COMMUNITIES.
YAF envisions a world in which young people are valued, empowered and effective/impactful participants in creating a better and more sustainable future for all.
